Crazy 8's

First of all, congrats to Nike and all the cats that worked on all that NSW stuff. I'm not really anybody, but from what I've seen it looks dope! Worth the hype for me at least. I mean, Rejuven8's on NikeID? The lightest AF1 to date? Flywire Windrunner? I know its not the 8th anymore, but I think it would be appropriate to give a little history over my last eight days.

8/1
1. I filmed my brother at the park for the making of some big thangs! Then my boy Esto comes into town to visit family (pretty much my family too).

2. Red Bull Flugtag at the Waterfront. My friend Jesse and I walked in right when they opened the area along the beach (a.k.a it was so full they had to open it up), so our "seats" were right at the end of the dock. My favorite team was called Lego My Red Bull. They made their craft from giant Styrofoam Lego pieces and they had full Lego suits. For some reason they didn't even get honorable mention! Such attention to detail and they had awesome personalities.

3. My boy Esto goes back home to Oakland. We had a lot of fun while he was here for his 3-day trip. No pics but if you know Esto, you don't need any.

4. I looked at another retail location. This one is actually perfect. It's just off of Baseline and Cornelius Pass and if you know what I'm tryin to do you know this spot is perfect!

5. My mommy's b-day! Party's not till Sunday, but Happy Birthday Moms!

6. Look at this recent pick-up. Most of the time I hate my job. Sometimes though I get hooked up and I've been waiting for these for a while. Y'all might not think they're hot, but I do! Thanks hooker-upper.

7. Nike Sportswear Launches. That says it all. Go see it for yourself.

8. The freakin opening if the 2008 Olympic Games! If you didn't see the opening ceremony, you're stupid. That s**t was AMAZING! Jesse hit me up late in the afternoon and asked if I wanted to watch it up at his dad's spot. I was weary until the promise of free food was granted. I couldn't have thought of a better thing to do last night beside actually being in the Bird's Nest. And I couldn't have asked for better company. It was so amazing, we rewound it and watched half of it again... then when I got home, I watched the first hour AGAIN! I found out during our hours of conversation that Jesse's cousin had a baby this yesterday morning at 8:08am... 8 pounds, 8 ounces! If you didn't catch it please let me know. By the middle of it we expected to be bored, but it only got better. So much honor, respect and tradition displayed the opening ceremony.

The view from his dad's house. Even more amazing at night.

Their 150 inch screen in the theater room. Yup. Would you believe that the whole 4 hour ceremony was created by one guy?!

I know this is blurry, but it's much needed. These people are so proud of their country and their people. The Chinese have 639 participants in the XXIX Olympiad.

I think the most awesome thing about the Olympics is that no matter when you turn the tube on, the best in the world are competing. Imagine putting that on your resume!
