Life is what you make it

Just 6 days ago I was devastated. I thought I was a failure because I didn't do well in a mock interview. I got upset when they repeatedly asked me the same questions and I couldn't get the answer "right". What i kept forgetting though was that it was a MOCK INTERVIEW!!! I was getting asked those questions and they were making me uncomfortable on purpose so I could be ready. People get on me everyday to make sure I'm on top of my game and sometimes I get pretty upset. Disrespect makes me mad pretty fast. But I realize that they're all trying to help me out... and THAT is respect!

All that said, I had another mock on Friday and it went pretty well. I still had a lot to work on, but I was proud. I worked all weekend on my presentation and everything for the interview. (Monday at 2pm; pray for a brotha) I'm real confidence. Yes, I said confidence. You had to be there I guess. Anyway, here's my week thru pictures. Let's try this again

I've been away for a while...... And I've been meaning to come back for a while too. My bad bros! As part of my new years resolution, my good pal Aly and I are keeping journals. Mine's a man diary tho. I tried keeping mine in a book, but it's kinda boring to me. Aly is way more creative than I and her entries are paintings. I'll just type and add pictures.

I'm sure none of you have been wondering what I've been doin for the last 5 months, but I'm gonna tell you anyway in two words - Doin Work! (You can skip the next paragraph now if you want.)

I've been bustin my booty to get on around this place and STILL no love! (lots of free work tho; you're welcome) It'll all pay off soon, hopefully, but only God knows. Whether I get a "real" job or not there's still some stuff I gotta do for myself. Finish school, go to church frequently, help out the bball and go-kart camps, organize the basement, lose a lot of weight, dunk, figure out how to make perfect tacos, host an event, start a business, travel, eat good food, put all my stupid ideas on paper, add more crap to this list. Why all these tasks? I like to be busy. I cant sit still! Multi-tasking keeps me awake cuz when I stop I fall asleep, literally. I love to prove people wrong and I cant do that if I'm passed out. All in all I just want to be happy.

Whatever happens next happens and I just gotta roll with the punches like I have been for a while. But I don't know. Just keepin it hood since day 1!
