... Again

On Tuesday we left the room around 10ish because Jesse and Jordan wanted to ride the zip-line. No thanks! It's actually ranked as the 5th best on the world. That means I'm REALLY not down with any part of that. We drove around for a while, only to find that it was closed until Thursday. I could care less, but they were pissed (this actually seems to be the theme of the week). We grabbed something cheap to eat and stopped by Harrah's to look for Jordan;s lost sweater when I decided it was time for me to start gambling. I dropped my only 3 quarters in the slot machine and hit it big! By golly, I've done it again!

After kickin it poolside for a while we went back to the room to eat and prepare for what was supposed to be the best night of the whole week; Ladies night at the Tudor Pub! I'm gonna make a short story shorter-not the business (remember that theme?). Hello pillow by midnight!

Wednesday
So Jordan and I decided the day before that we would wake up around 8 and head to the casino for some blackjack. The goal was to dress comfortable and be as relaxed as possible and for a while it payed off. Our dealer was really sweet and there were these older ladies showing us the ropes for a while. Somehow they could often predict what was gonna happen. I was still stupid nervous for every hand though. I doubled my $40 within about 20 minutes but when I cashed out 2 hours later I only had $33. I think it was cuz our dealer and the cool old ladies left.

Later we decided it was time to finally hit that beach, and man was it dope. The sun was out, no wind, and the water was pretty warm.

Lookin real sexy down by da beech!

While we were laid out on the hot sand, we debated what we were going to do the rest of the week. After walking the beach for a bit we met an older guy, Dave, playing fetch with his dog. He told us what was hot and what wasn't around here and let us know about a retirement party for a friend of his and that we were welcome to celebrate too. Nothin else was poppin off, so we decided to roll through the party. This dude Dave is a BALLER! Dude straight knew everybody, he was buying everybody drinks and was the best pool player I had ever seen in person.

We left early but before the night was out he invited us to his house on the hill...

Tahoe pt. 2

Monday night was the annual Labor Day fireworks display over the Lake. We left the condo about 2 hours early to find something quick to eat and find a nice spot to peep the works.
We found a restaurant called the Riva Grill that sounded pretty dope and somewhat inexpensive (according to the guy at the gate).

It was right on the edge of the lake so we decided we would just stay and watch the fireworks from the window. The restaurant was really nice... really really nice. There was valet parking, the front desk was this beautiful cherry speed boat and the pasta was 25 bucks! I defiantly stuck with the soup, lobster and shrimp bisque to be exact... bangin! All the food was pretty freakin good to be honest.

We were chillin in the bar, so they had the UCLA-Tennessee game on. It was a pretty dope game and everybody was pretty into it, but with about 3 minutes left I realized something... we had just crossed the stateline and we were in California. These fools love them some college football. It only got more nuts from there. When UCLA got a touchdown to take the lead with 30 seconds left the whole place exploded. At the same time, the the fireworks were going on in the background. B-a-n-a-n-a-s! I headed outside to to catch the rest of the show. It was timed with a radio broadcast that included classics like the Indiana Jones' theme track. It was really cool.

After we ordered the peasant fetcheth thy whip, we just went home and had a relaxing night.

Goin big tomorrow night- it's ladies night at the club!
