Mark, owner of we Legendary+ was in town from the Philippines. Jojo asked me to show him around Portland. not too many pictures were taken by my camera during this time cuz I was tryin to get my photography game right with his big tyma cam. We hit the campus, Dew Tour, Fire on the Mountain x2, saw Downtown and threw down at East Burn all in one weekend. Oh, and I did a 20 mile ride and Bridge Pedal. Doin work son! Shouts to Mundo, Amir and Will who all came out to show some love to Mark. We had a whole lot of fun!! Mark - I'll see you and your uncle soon, but in your hood.
I'm fortunate to have a lot of friends who look out for me, I appreiate all of you so much, you dont even know. Last week................. yup. I'm trying to think of creative ways to say I have one of the dopestest weeks EVAAA, but that's all I got. I got to go to Magic, a DREAM of mine for a long while (dap to Gary and Curtis, doin big thangs). Stayed in a 6-bedroom mansion with full access to the illest pool on the block (all love, Yung Rick. I owe you hugetime) Then hit the city of angels and the dream started over. Yung Rick and his roommate murdering errbody to take 1-2 legends on the Legends of Legends tournament. Lunch with Phrostbite and dinner with The Freddy Wu. Santa Monica, Downtown, LA Live, pushing chips, La Brea, parking ticket, traffic, amazing food, Open Mic Nights, ants in my pants (and everywhere else), 90842 room keys that never worked, STACKS of cash, stooooped hot weather, The Bike, putting miles on them Revolutions, making connections.
Vegas and Magic/Project/Pool were first, but for some reason I took all those pics with my phone, and it doesn't wanna transfer files right now. I'll add them later.
Tried to hit the Vault, but it was closed :(
Hit a dope vintage sports apparel store, And Still. Off of La Brea there were about 5 spots, capped with a store I can't even explain. Off the chain!!
I need this.
Got a dang parking ticket... helps to pay the correct meter I guess.
Then I headed out to Santa Monica to see the Nike store out there. Thanks to Lisa and Erick for showing me around.I can't wait for the Portland store to open.
Headed back to The Bicycle to see Nick (on the right) play a little poker. When I got there at 9pm he was 1 of 25 left,out of about 150 total. He and his roommate quickly dropped fools - beast mode!! Nick ended up taking second. How crazy is it that he ended up playing heads-up against his roommate?!
The next day I headed out to Little Tokyo. Hit the illest store (Thanks for the love Mark and Bella, store is clean!) and RIF, a consignment shop. Then I headed out to Santa Clarita to have dinner with my man Phil from high school. After that I headed downtown for happy hour with Freddy Wu. We had some REAL good conversation! Very inspiring.
In the back of this place they had a little speak easy. It was literally a 'knock three times, then once' place. Completely unmarked.

Thanks everybody for the amazing vacation. I appreciate you all so much!! Time to head home though.
